Frequently Asked Questions

How do we go about setting up a walk?

Please get in touch with Jude by phone, text or e-mail and we can discuss your requirements and answer any questions you may have, as well as checking availability for the times and days you may require. We will then arrange a convenient time to come and meet you and your dog and you can decide if you want to proceed. If you wish to choose the same days each week, these can be automatically booked in for you, saving you the hassle of contacting us weekly.  Should you wish for a more flexible service you can book your walks on a Friday for the following week. However we are very flexible and will always do our best to accommodate last minute changes.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, We are fully insured by a specialist pet services insurance company.

Are you police checked?

Yes, all our staff are police checked.

Where do you take the dogs?

We use a variety of locations in the Charnwood area where we can safely unload the dogs from the van. We plan our schedules to ensure the dogs spend the minimum amount of time in the van as possible.

How long are the walks?

Walks are a minimum of 40 minutes, beginning from the time we start the walk, NOT the time your dog leaves your house or the time we arrive at the walk location.

How do you transport the dogs?

We have small panel vans with crates inside to ensure your dog is transported safely. The vans are specially adapted to ensure good ventilation to keep your dog cool in the summer months. Being panel vans they also do not heat up like a car or van with rear windows would in the summer.

How do I pay?

We accept payment by BACS, cash, cheque, or PAYM to the doglegs mobile number. Most of our customers prefer to be invoiced monthly.

Can you walk my dog individually?

Not all dogs are suited to pack walks, but regrettably we are unable to offer individual walks during our busiest period between  9.30am and 3.30pm.

Can you walk my dog on his lead?

We will only let your dog off his lead if you have authorised us (in writing) to do so. We can and do walk a number of dogs who for various reasons have to stay on the lead.
